2012 Highlights

POLICY
- 2012– AB 1521 Allowed school districts with Dual Language Immersion programs to assess students in their primary language at the district’s expense.
- 2012– AB 1719 Established a process for reviewing and approving supplemental instructional materials aligned to the revised ELD standards and required the California Department of Education to ensure alignment with the CCSS math content.
